Arrests

Wednesday, August 8, 2012 by The Press in Police Log

Police arrested 31-year-old Angel Nieves during separate, unrelated incidents at local fast-food restaurants late July 21.

According to police, around 11:30 p.m. Nieves, of Ramblewood Lane, was at the Easton Avenue McDonald's trying to sell a necklace to a woman. When she refused to buy, he allegedly spat in her face.

Nieves was arrested for harrassment.

About two hours later a woman at the nearby Arby's saw a man inside her parked car, allegedly attempting tampering with the controls.

Police identified Nieves and charged him with public drunkenness, theft and criminal attempt of auto theft.
