Dorothy L. Huston , 86, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at Old Orchard Health Center, Bethlehem Township. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Irene (Gross) Laslo.

She was the wife of Raymond F. Huston for 62 years.

She was a 1944 graduate of Liberty HS, where she was a clarinetist in the band.

She was employed by the Laros Silk Mill and Western Electric.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

She was a saxophonist in The Swingettes, an all-girl dance band. She was a private clarinet and saxophone teacher. She was a member of the Municipal Band of Bethlehem, the American Legion Band of Bethlehem, and the Liberty HS Alumni Band. She was a member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and won several local, regional and state awards.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Mitchell of Laurys Station; two daughters, Georgie and her husband John Graybill of Macungie and Paula of Missoula, Mont.; and five grandchildren, Courtney, Jeffrey, Jason, Hannah, and Gregory.
