Verizon retiree

Randy L. Skinner, 64, of Bethlehem died Aug. 14, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Honesdale, he was a son of the late Raymond N. Skinner and Dolores (Brill) Skinner of Honesdale. He was the husband of Suzanne M. (Wagner) Skinner for 29 years.

He was in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, during the Vietnam era. He received the Good Conduct medal.

He worked for the former Western Electric and was retired from Verizon.

He was a member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the NRA.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two sons, Christopher and his wife Jaime and Marc and his wife Jacquelyn, all of Bethlehem; four brothers; a sister; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers and a nephew.
