Colin McDermott of Central Catholic rushed for 373 yards against Northampton to break his own school record of 279 yards he set in his sophomore year against Clearfield. McDermott also joins the 4,000 yard rushing club with his 4,022 yards, good enough for 19th place all-time in the area. His 6 TDs in the game falls one short of the school record held jointly by Komlan Lonergan and Rob Hauke. He is now tied with Chuck Dibilio of Nazareth for 20th place all-time in the area with 57 career TDs.

Northampton's jr QB Nick Cook threw for over 200 yards for the fifth time this season with his 233 yards against Central. Cook now has 1,203 yards passing this year and 10 TD passes (1 better than his brother Patrick had last year), but lost the District 11 lead as Jeff Krisiak of PM West threw for 332 yards last week against ES North and now has 1,299 yards (10 shy of his own school record) and 13 TD passes this year. Krisiak's 13 TD passes ties him with Brandon Leap of Pleasant Valley for the district lead and is one behind Jon Manqual's school record of 14 that he set in 2007.

Kyle George of Northampton caught seven more passes for 151 yards and two scores to up his District 11 lead to 693 yards and 7 TD catches. George and Owen Daniel of Williams Valley both have 28 catches and 7 TD catches (1 TD every 4 catches). District leader Nick Sommer of Whitehall has 31 catches and Matt Shelter of PM West has 29. Shelter is tied with Tim Lofton (2003) for the school single season record. George is now second on the all-time list for single season receiving yards at Northampton. Ryan Flamisch still holds the record with 814 yards (1996). George moved ahead of Tommy Rohn (2nd time), Jason Kremus and Billy Haydt.

Nicholas Shafnisky of Whitehall went over 2,000 yards passing for his career and has thrown 20 TDs. Alex Tonnies of Nazareth went over 1,000 yards receiving for his career. There are five quarterbacks with at least 2,000 yards passing in their career within 200 yards of each other on the chart. All five are seniors. QB Patrick Duvigneaud of Jim Thorpe, WR Matt Shelter of PM West and the passing combo of Cook and George were all added to the chart this week.
