Bethlehem Township-Center renovation manager chosen

Tuesday, November 29, 2016 by Bernie O’Hare Special to the Bethlehem Press in Local News

By a 4-0 vote at their Nov. 7 meeting, Bethlehem Township Commissioners approved Allied Building Corp. as its construction manager for renovations at the community center. The facility was built 10 years ago at a cost of $11 million, but needs $2 million in repairs, including a new roof.

Allied was selected after discussions with Commissioners Tom Nolan and Michael Hudak. Located in downtown Bethlehem, the company has considerable experience in projects as large as the WalMart Fulfillment Center ($43 million) to the Kemmerer Museum expansion, with its specially designed HVAC system.

Pat Breslin was absent from the brief meeting, which was chaired by Hudak.
