The Bethlehem Catholic boys and girls each brought home District 11 4A titles this weekend and will advance to states.

The girls, on Saturday afternoon, beat Central Catholic 43-27 thanks to big second and third quarter runs.

The girls got balanced scoring in the game and chipped in with a stuffing defense to keep the Vikes in check. Hope Brown and Neila Luma eached scored 9 points in the win while Tessa Zamolyi had 8.

The boys put up an equally impressive outing on Friday night against Jim Thorpe, winning 64-31. The Hawks won all four quarters, but sealing things with a 23-8 third quarter run to help put the game away.

Justin Paz led all scorers with 17 points.
