Aldo Braido, supply company past president

Aldo Braido, 91, of Bethlehem, died Feb.23, 2017, at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. He was a son of the late Augusta (Moretti) and Anthony Braido. He was the husband of the late Jeanne (Kuhns) Braido and the late Susan (Hunter) Braido.

He was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School and was the class president.

He was in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.

He was retired from General Supply Company, Bethlehem, where he worked from 1956 to 1991 and of which he was a president and a past board member. He worked previously with Duggan and Marcon.

He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

He was a past chairman of Easton Building Material and Dealers Association. He was a Paul Harris Fellow.

He was a member of the Easton Rotary, Green Pond Country Club and the Bethlehem American Legion Post 379.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Braido; and eight sisters, Theresa Pavan, Velma Pysher, Margaret Cascario, Lilly Piccerillo, Mary Braido, Ida Braido, Lena Rice and Eleanor Knapp.
