Saverio A. Pasqualucci, of Ss. Simon and Jude Church
Saverio A. Pasqualucci, 82, of Bethlehem, died April 7, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Armando and Mamie (Madelena) Pasqualucci. He was the husband of Betty Jane Major (Dickert) Pasqualucci.
He was a 1952 graduate of Liberty HS where he was class president for three years and was a trombone player in the marching band. He earned an engineering degree from Lehigh University.
He was a purchaser and then a supervisor for Western Electric, from which he retired after 30 years. He then owned and operated Lucci’s Restaurant, Sea Isle City, N.J. He was a manager in sales and purchasing for Durant Enterprises for several years.
He was a Eucharistic minister, leader of song and lector, and taught children and adult CCD classes while he was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. He was involved with the Cursillo movement for 45 years. He was recognized in the Philippines for his services and support during a values and leadership building seminar.
A golfer, he had three holes-in-one in his lifetime, and golfed at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club during the 1980 IVB Golf Classic.
He won many table tennis medals. He played the accordion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael of Bethlehem and Dante and his wife Allison of Los Angeles; and five grandchildren, Saverio Michael Jr., Antonio Dante, Gina Teresa, Mia Rose, and Dante Albert Aldovino Pasqualucci.
