Louis Lopez, 91, of Bethlehem Township, died Sept. 20, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Luis and Marina (Perez) Lopez. He was the husband of Loretta (DeFulvio) Nuno Lopez for 30 years.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Philippines and the Korean War.

He was a foreman in the maintenance division at Bethlehem Steel until he retired after 30 years. He was an electrician for various contractors in the area.

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

He was a member of the LSM/Naval Amphibious Associaton and the MORA Club. He played city league softball for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sandra and her husband James Hintze and Linda Lopez; a step-son, Enrique Nuno; a son, Jeff Lopez; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Carrillo; and a brother, Manuel.
