Cesario Branco Jr., 87, Hellertown, died Oct. 23, 2017. Born in Ribeiro Murtosa, Portugal, he was a son of the late Cesario Branco and Maria (da Ascensáo) Valente. He was the husband of Alice (Ferreira) Branco for 65 years.

He was in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne division and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He w as a union steward and heater at the Bethlehem Steel Coke Works, from which he retired at age 46 He and his wife owned and operated Branco’s Restaurant for 33 years. He and “Jukebox Jerry” co-owned Cesar’s Entertainment.

He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Anthony and wife Erna of Hellertown, Dolores and wife Kathy of Northfield, Mass. and Joseph and wife Krista of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Kevin, Jocelyn and Kyler; and three great grandchildren, Kara, Jaxon and Christopher Jr.

He was predeceased by a sister, Maria DeJesus Branco.
