Lillian “Lil” R. Gaul, 101, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 24, 2017, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. Born in South Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Peter) and Joseph Kerso. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Repsher and the late Anthony Gaul.

She worked for R.K. Laros Silk Mill and for Schoenen’s Market, both in Bethlehem.

She was a member of the former St. John’s Hungarian Catholic Church and recently of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was a member of the Sodality.

She volunteered with the church and at St. Luke’s Hospital.

She survived by a niece, Dolores Mervan; a nephew, Tommy Philippi; a great-niece, Pat and her husband, Tony Schaffer; a great-nephew, Richard and his wife, Cami Philippi; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Steve and John Kerso; two sisters, Helen Koller and Margaret Philippi; and a nephew, Richard Philippi Sr.
