Richard J. Facinelli, 90, of Bethlehem Township, died Nov. 20, 2017. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late William and Esther (Rossi) Facinelli. He was the husband of Marie A. (Garganta) Facinelli for 61 years.

He was a truck driver and mechanic in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines.

He was an installer for Bell Telephone Company until he retired in 1989 after 33 years of service.

He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Francine M. of Allentown; three sons, James R. and his wife Jacqueline of Dunedin, Fla.; Anthony W. and his wife Gail of Bethlehem; and John M. and his wife Michele of Nazareth; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his extended family.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Kathryn Scarlato and Doris Brankovich; and two brothers, Henry Facinelli and William Facinelli.
