Francisca Cruz, 92, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 27, 2018. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Meliton Pabon and Leocadia Rodriguez. She was the wife of the late Benito Cruz.

She was a sewing machine operator in the garment industry for several years and later worked with Allied Environmental Services at Lehigh University. She was a part of a union being formed for those that worked with her.

She was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Confraternity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Cursillo, Catholic Charismatic Renewal and many church activities.

She was a Broughal MS and Freedom HS band booster. She volunteered for many civic organizations including Hogar CREA and the Spanish Council.

She is survived by seven children, Maria E. and her husband Francisco Rivera; Lydia and her husband Juan Roque, Iris M. and her husband Santos Martinez, Carmen and her husband Moises Laboy, William Cruz, and his companion Bonnie Parr, Francis Cruz and Benita and her husband Edward Davis; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and loved ones.

She was predeceased by a son, Ramon Pabon.
