Maria Dulce DaSilva, 63, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 28, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Arouca, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Sousa and Angelina (Conceição). She was the wife of the late Fernando I. DaSilva for 41 years.

She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, where she was an Eucharistic Minister, cooked for social events and was on the board of directors for the Irmandade da Nossa Senhora de Fatima.

She was a member of the Portuguese American Club and of the club’s ladies auxilliary.

She is survived by three children, Alexandra and her husband Antonio Dias, Jorge and his wife Candy and Fernando and his wife Amanda; six brothers, Jorge, Jose, Manuel, Aldalberto, Fernando and Francisco; five sisters, Mafalda, Isabel, Emilia, Clara and Conceição; five granddaughters, Angelina, Adriana, Milani, Andrea and Isabella; in laws; nieces; nephews; and friends.

She was predeceased by a sister, Elsa; and an infant brother.
