Colonial Regional Police hosted family and friends at a Feb. 26 meeting to honor the efforts of the area’s officers in the cause of saving lives in this difficult time of rampant drug overdoses. Though police are often the first responders to a emergency, their contributions to lifesaving are often overlooked, said Chief Roy Seiple.
