UPDATED: Rain continues to alter sports schedules

Weather continues to change schedules for league playoff games this week.
Here’s the latest as of Thursday afternoon:

Track
The District 11 track and field meet is still on for Thursday, May 17, for day two and takes place at Whitehall High School.

EPC Baseball
As of Thursday afternoon, EPC baseball games are now canceled and moving north to the University of Scranton turf field.
On Friday at 9 a.m. will be Stroudsburg and Parkland followed by Emmaus against Easton at 11:15 a.m. The EPC championship game will take place at 1:30 p.m.

Colonial Baseball
Colonial League baseball has been postponed Thursday at Parkland. The new site is Hamburg High School on Friday, also on a turf field.
At 10 a.m., Northwestern and Southern Lehigh will resume their suspended game. (Southern Lehigh up 4-0 after 2 ½ innings).
Palisades will play Saucon Valley.
The championship game will be 3 p.m.

Softball
Pates Park will be the site of the area softball playoffs Thursday, but there has been a slight change in the schedule.
At 2 p.m. is Colonial League semifinal game between Salisbury and Bangor.
At 4 p.m. is the EPC semifinal game between Liberty and Becahi.
At 6 p.m. is Colonial League Championship game between Northern Lehigh and the winner of Salisbury-Bangor.
At 8 p.m. is the EPC Championship game between Parkland and the winner of Liberty-Becahi.
Please note: Teams will not have a full infield warmup. This is a "fluid" situation and subject to change, according to the release.
