Damon A. Cole, ‘Earthquake’ bass player

Damon A. Cole, 48, of Bethlehem, died suddenly on May 5, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James Cole and Gail (Smith) Cole of Bethlehem. He was the husband of Gretchen (Flanagan) Cole for 18 years.

He attended Liberty HS.

He worked in construction for the local #1174 Laborers Union.

He played bass in his band, “Earthquake”.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Zachary and his fiancé Gina Salazar and Brendan Borghi; and a daughter, Tiara Cole, all of Bethlehem; two grandchildren, Giana and Arya; a sister, Angela Cole of Allentown; a brother James “Lon” Cole of Maryland; a brother-in-law, Thomas Flanagan of Bethlehem; mother-in-law, Ute Flanagan of Bath; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Thomas Flanagan.
