Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania

Several Bethlehem area residents have been named to the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania 2018 spring semester dean’s list. To qualify, they earned a quality point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester. Joshua Kochsmeier, of Bethlehem, was named to Cedarville University 2018 spring semester dean’s list with a 3.5 GPA and took at least 12 credit hours.

Coastal Carolina University

Carolina Paul-Lastres and Jasmine Rodriguez, both Bethlehem area residents, were named to the Coastal Carolina University dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester. The students achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester in order to be included in the list.

Two Bethlehem area residents were named to the Lebanon Valley spring 2018 semester dean’s list. or the. Christa Abert and Justin Benton qualified to be included by maintaining a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Misericordia University

Michael Dubinski, of Hanover Township, a Government, Law and National Security major, and Kali McCornac, of Bethlehem, a speech-language pathology major, completed the University Honors Program. Each was awarded a gold stole at the institution’s annual Honors and Awards Ceremony at Lemmond Theater, Walsh Hall. The University Honors program requires students to participate in honors sections of their core courses, participate in Honors Exploration Seminars, complete an Honors Capstone project and achieve a grade point average above 3.25.

Northeastern University

Hellertown resident Kelsey Gatchel was named to the Northeastern University spring semester 2018 dean’s list. She carried a full program of at least four courses, had a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and had no single grade lower than a C- during the course of her college career to qualify for the list.

University of Rhode Island

Rebecca Z. Tenaglia, of Bethlehem, was named to the University of Rhode Island spring 2018 dean’s list as either a full-time student who completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average; or part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Giselle Ferguson and Matias Pineiro, of Bethlehem, were recently named to the spring 2018 semester dean’s list at the College of William & Mary.
