Richard “Moon” Michael Ford, 86, of Bethlehem, died June 19, 2018, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Rose (Csapek) and Mark Ford. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Collins) Ford.

He worked and retired from the New Jersey Zinc Company.

He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council 313 and Assembly 931, where he was a 4th degree knight. He was a life member of the 540, Tammany and Jefferson Democratic Clubs, North End Wanders Athletic Club, Heights Athletic Association, St. Bernard Beneficial Society and Hecktown Fire Hall.

He is survived by three sons, Richard J. Sr. and his wife Cookie, David A. and his wife Anna, and Thomas J. and his wife Suzanne Rieger of Hershey; a daughter, Patricia A. and her husband Butch Leiby; eight grandchildren, Rory and her husband Tim, Richard Jr., David, Sianne and her husband Joe, Samantha, Jacob, Christine, and Thomas and wife Jackie; and five great-grandchildren, Ahana, Joey, Mya, Kylee and Owen.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Rieger; a son, Joseph Rieger; and six brothers and sisters.
