Catholic High Schools in Allentown Diocese offer new student day passes

Tuesday, November 6, 2018 by The Press in Local News

All Catholic high schools in Lehigh and Northampton counties will make available to their students the new LANTA Student Day Pass.

The discount program, first introduced last January in the Allentown School District, enables schools to sell the one dollar passes on campus for an unlimited-ride Day Pass.

The regular LANTA Day Pass is four dollars.

Allentown Central Catholic, Bethlehem Catholic, and Notre Dame in Easton are all participating in the program, effective immediately.

“The one-dollar Student Pass permits students to commute to class, as well as to jobs and activities after school,” LANTA Executive Director Owen P. O’Neil said. “The student passes can also be purchased for use on weekends, another advantage for students with jobs, weekend activities, etc.”
