Barbara N. Hohe, Cathedral Church of the Nativity member
Barbara N. Hohe, 84, of Bethlehem, died Dec. 27, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus. She was the wife of Franklin W. Hohe for 42 years. Born in Teaneck, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Paul A. and Mildred (Springstead) Noxon.
She earned, in 1956, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bucknell University.
She was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity Bethlehem and was active with their choir.
She was a former member of the Bach Choir and many other musical organizations.She volunteered for St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem; and formerly was an ESL tutor.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Judith G. Bowen and her companion Jodi Crupi of Westfield N.J. and Pamela A. and her husband Guy Smith of Effort; a sister, Jane DeWitt, of Cary, N.C.; a stepson, Michael and his wife Lauren Christopher of San Diego, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Margaret E. and her husband Steven Haug of Laughlin, N.V.; and five grandchildren, Lucas and Timothy Bowen Crupi, Morgan Vols and Amanda and Wesley Hohe.
She was predeceased by a son, Bruce David.
