LHS relay nabs pool record

Liberty swimmers Greta Stuckey, Natalie Richardson, Samantha Taylor, and Abby Mack broke Northampton’s pool record in the 200 free relay last Thursday in the Hurricanes’ 103-77 victory over the Konkrete Kids.

The Liberty relay time was 1:42.26, breaking the previous record set by Parkland in 2018 with a time of 1:43.76.

Taylor, Richardson, Talia Lehr, and Stuckey won the first event of the meet, the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:56.16.

Stuckey also won the 50 free in 26.05.

Cara Kuykens placed first in diving with 179.90 points.

In the 100 butterfly, Lehr was first in 1:03.37, Sarah Park was second, and Julia Pinter came in third.

The Hurricanes had another one, two, three finish in the 100 free with Mack taking first in 55.65, Stuckey came in second, and Emma Reilly came in third.

Taylor won the 100 backstroke in 1:02.53.
