DeAN’s LISTS

Alvernia University

Six Bethlehem residents have been named to Alvernia University’s dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. To be eligible, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits. They are Kristen Czajka, Regan Downey, Alison Yerger, Nicholas Youngkin, Abigail Zerbe and Victoria Zerbe.

Bucknell University

Madeleine Atwood, Ryan Bailis, Cole Gilotti, Liana Irvine and Drew Thomas, all from Bethlehem, earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 and received 2019 spring semester dean’s list recognition at Bucknell University.

Clemson University

Two Bethlehem residents have been named to the Clemson University dean’s list at for the spring 2019 semester. The students are Tara Marie Hathaway, a materials science and engineering major, and Grant C. Hicks, a financial management major. To be named to the list, they earned a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Elizabethtown College

Erika Antunes, Hugh Brolly and Kevin Carman, all of Bethlehem, were named to the Elizabethtown College spring 2019 dean’s list. The full-time undergraduate students were included for having earned a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

Grove City College

Two Bethlehem residents, computer science major Benjamin Green and political science major Jonathan Skee, were named to the Grove City College dean’s list with distinction for the spring 2019 semester.

Students eligible for the To be eligible, the students earned a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84.

James Madison University

Chase Hoover, of the Bethlehem area, has been named to the James Madison University dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

Kutztown University

Several Bethlehem area students have been named to the Kutztown University 2019 spring dean’s list. To be eligible for the list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Lebanon Valley College

Justin Benton, of Bethlehem, was named to the Lebanon Valley College dean’s list for the spring semester. The bachelor of science in exercise science major was listed for maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

Lehigh University

Several area residents were named to the Lehigh University spring 2019 dean’s list. To be included, they earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses. Mansfield University

Nicolas Alejandro, of Bethlehem, has been named to the Mansfield University President’s List for the spring 2019 semester. To be named to the list, he attended the university full-time and earned at least a 4.0 QPA for the semester.

Mount St. Mary’s University

Samuel MacDonald, of Bethlehem, has earned Mount St. Mary’s University dean’s list honors for the Spring 2019

semester.

Norwich University

Zachary C. Van Buskirk, of Bethlehem, has been recognized on the Norwich University Spring 2019 dean’s list. To be named, he had to be a full-time undergraduate student who earned a semester grade point average of at least 3.40 and had no failures in the previous Fall or Spring semester or any pending incomplete grades.

Simmons University

Alaina Karcher, Bethlehem (18020) resident, was named to the Simmons University 2019 spring semester dean’s list. To qualify, the undergraduate student earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, based on 12 or more credit hours of work in classes using the letter grade system.

Slippery Rock University

Shawn Camus, from Bethlehem, has been named to the Slippery Rock University dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. The undergraduate student earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

Saint Mary’s College

Kerrie Koller, of Bethlehem, was named to Saint Mary’s College dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. TO be included in the list, she earned a grade point average of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale, had a minimum of 12 graded credit hours, had no incomplete courses and no grades lower than a C.

Susquehanna University

Emily Hoff ‘19, of Bethlehem, was named to Susquehanna University’s dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester

for having achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester and completing a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Trine University

Sean Schirripa, of Bethlehem, s main campus, earned dean’s list recognition for the spring 2019 term at Trine University. The Exercise Science major completed a minimum of 15 hours and had a grade point average of 3.500-3.749 to qualify for the list.

Troy University

Lizbeth Morales, of Bethlehem, has been named to the Troy University chancellor’s list at for the spring semester/term 4 of the 2018/2019 academic year.

The list honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0.

Tufts University

Jeffrey Brown, Ross Sonnenblick and Wescott Yeaw, all of Bethlehem, were named to the Tufts University dean’s list for the Spring 2019 semester for earning a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Delaware

Several local residents were named to the University of Delaware’s Spring 2019 dean’s list. They are, from Bethlehem: Mercedes Dayan, Kenneth Hackett, Gabrielle Harvilla, Matthew Kuehner, Maria Murray, Graciela Rayome, Abigail Rowan, Matthew Shaffer and Grace Walters; and from Fountain Hill: Mariah Kondravy.

To meet eligibility requirements for the list, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of Pittsburgh

Benjamin Suter, of Bethlehem, earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and was named to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s spring 2019 dean’s list.

University of Rhode Island

Maren Drake, of Bethlehem, was named to the University of Rhode Island spring 2019 dean’s list. To be included, she completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average; part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earned at least a 3.30 quality point average.
