YWCA Climate Change panel Oct. 16
YWCA Bethlehem is sponsoring “Climate Change: Lehigh Valley Strategies for Today & Tomorrow” Oct. 16, at Kirkland Village, a Bethlehem retirement community. A five-member panel, including staff from the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, will address approaches Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton are undertaking on climate change and answer audience questions about plans for the future. The free 90- minute program starts at 11 a.m. and includes time for audience questions.
The program will introduce the YWCA’s 2020 Great Decisions eight-part lecture series on foreign policy issues which runs from February through March. Attendees of the Oct. 16 panel will be able to sign up for this 2020 winter lecture series, for which there is a fee.
