Local boys soccer teams pick up wins

Bethlehem Catholic’s boys’ soccer team celebrated senior night with a 3-1 victory over Allen on Friday at Becahi.

Jacob Manhardt scored two goals for the Hawks and Nathan Estock scored one.

Trent Talipan and Daniel DeLuca were credited with assists.

Jackson Gilstrap made 13 saves for Becahi.

The Hawks also beat Dieruff last week, 7-4.

Estock had a hat trick against the Huskies. Jacob Sledz, Talipan, Manhardt, and Rece Martin also scored.

Assists were made by Gilstrap, Rafael SanJuan, DeLuca, Jordan Troxell, Peter Martinez, and Manhardt.

Between the Hawks’ games against Allen and Dieruff, Freedom defeated Becahi last Wednesday, 1-0.

Nathanael Rivera scored, and Matt Thomsen made two saves for the Patriots.

This past Saturday, Liberty defeated Abington Heights, 2-0.

Chris Schray and Isaiah Trinidad scored for the Hurricanes.
