Lehigh Valley Health Network

Joint statement issued

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office have completed their antitrust reviews of Lehigh Valley Health Network’s (LVHN) proposal to acquire the assets of Coordinated Health, allowing the transaction to move forward.

We anticipate that the transaction documents will be completed in the coming weeks. Until such time, we will continue to operate as separate entities.

Network among ‘Most Wired’

Lehigh Valley Health Network has earned The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) 2019 “Most Wired” recognition. The program conducts an annual survey to assess how effectively healthcare organizations apply technology to support clinicians and patients. The organization received a customized benchmarking report, an overall score and scores for individual levels in eight segments: infrastructure; security; business/disaster recovery; administrative/supply chain; analytics/data management; interoperability/population health; patient engagement; and clinical quality/safety. Participants can use the report and scores to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.

LVHN received the Performance Excellence Award in both the inpatient and new ambulatory category. It is the only healthcare provider in Pennsylvania to earn Level 9 recognition for both categories.
