Nickolas D. Perrett Sr., FH-LL baseball coach

Nickolas “Big Nick” D. Perrett Sr., 88, of Fountain Hill, died January 4, 2020, while in the care of Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of the late Leonard A. and Philomena (Donatelli) Perretta. He was the husband of Eleanor C. (Lancsek) Perrett for 66 years.

He was a 1949 graduate of Fountain Hill High School.

He was in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a steward at the West Side Republican Club.

He was a member of St Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill.

He was a baseball coach at the Fountain Hill Little League. He was a member of the Fountain Hill American Legion Post #406 and the Bethlehem YMCA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Diane L. Wasley and Scott of Whitehall, Nickolas D. and Randi of Bethlehem, Lisa R. Perrett-Rossetti and Butch of Allentown, and Mario and Rachel of Stoneham, Massachusetts; three siblings, Leonard Perrett and Pauline Fennol, both of Bethlehem, and Marie Ballek of Fountain Hill; six grandchildren, Adrienne, Dominic, Nicholas, Sarah, Luca and Ali; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Jennie Torda.
