As the event ended, participants were invited to take a free copy of “Why Are All The Black Kids Sitting Together In the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations about Race.” The author, Dr. Beverly D. Tatum, will be the Keynote Speaker at a Martin Luther King Celebration Committee event at Lehigh University March 26 at 7 p.m. In preparation, two reading circles will be held at the Bethlehem Public Library’s Southside Branch Feb. 5 and March 4.
