Late game heroics fall short for LHS football

Wednesday, October 2, 2019 by JACOB MELUSKEY in Sports

EPSD Stadium was packed on Friday night for the Green Hornets game against the Liberty Hurricanes. Liberty came into the game at 2-3 and had lost the previous two games by a combined score of 79-14. Emmaus, and its strong rushing attack, had a record of 3-2, with close losses to Easton (6-0) and Nazareth (5-1).

This was a big turning point game for both teams and it was Emmaus which came out on top, 31-28.
