The Pennsylvania Jazz Collective (PJC) presents a Jazz Christmas vespers service, 4 p.m. Dec. 16, Church of the Manger, 1401 Greenview Drive, Bethlehem.
A jazz quintet will be led by PJC Artistic Director Alan Gaumer and Neil Wetzel, Ed .D., Director of jazz studies at Moravian College. The choir is directed by June Thomas, jazz vocal teacher at Muhlenberg College. Church staff include musician Sam Creyer and organist Mark Dennis.
The service will be presided over by the Rev. Sharon Joseph.
The performance is open to the public. A donation includes PJC holiday CD.
Sally Gammon, FACHE, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network's President and CEO since 1997, has announced plans to retire in 2013.
The Good Shepherd Board of Trustees has begun a search for Good Shepherd's next president and CEO. Gammon intends to remain involved with Good Shepherd and the local community after her retirement.

The Media People of Alburtis announced that it has received four national awards for two of its productions from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
"The Kalmbach Legacy" received the Videographer Award of Excellence and "Camelot, 25 Years Of Love" received the Videographer Award of Distinction. There were more than 1,600 entries this year and 12 per cent received awards.

Volunteers from Computer Aid, Selective Insurance, Air Products, and Meals on Wheels recently packed 900 emergency food bags ready to deliver to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in Lehigh County during this winter season.
Every year, Meals on Wheels provides its homebound clients with a day's worth of shelf-stable food items, called "blizzard bags," to be used during bad weather when meals cannot be delivered.
These blizzard bags are provided free-of-charge.
