Tours to be held Aug. 16, 17

In conjunction with the Aug. 18 Community Day event in Hellertown, there will be guided tours of the Union Cemetery. The walks will begin every eight to 10 minutes from 6 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 17.

Interested persons should meet at the Cremation Gardens, 89 Main St. There will be narrations by Hellertown's past distinguished citizens, such as Warren Eckert, Bessie Shiffer, Russel Mauch, Herbert Weisel and Nicholas Zenkof, who will talk about their lives and events.

Edna L. Meixell, 102, formerly of Bethlehem, died July 17, 2012, at Gracedale, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Milo D. Meixell and the late Louis E.J. Harris.

Born in Swoyerville, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mabel (Stull) Keiper.

She was a member of Edgeboro Moravian Church, Bethlehem.

She was a member of the Garden Club, the Women's Club of Bethlehem, the Gourmet Club, the Bridge Club and the Women of Lehigh.

James Lamarr Kelshaw Sr., 65, of Bethlehem, died July 31, 2012. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Lionel and Grace (Munro) Kelshaw. He was the husband of Kathleen (McCarthy) Kelshaw for 42 years.

He retired from the Mack Printing Group after 22 years as a bindery worker. Prior to that, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for nine years. He was a PIAA girls basketball referee for 16 years.

He was a member of the Jeffs, Wanderers and Heights A.A.

Donna May (Fluck) Weierbach, 53, of Slatington, died Aug. 1, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Mary and Carl Fluck Sr. of Bethlehem. She was the wife of Wade Weierbach for 7 years.

She was a dietician at Phoebe Home, Allentown, and was a senior consultant for Pampered Chef. She was co-owner of the Redneck Ranch.
