BOROUGH OF COPLAY is accepting applications for a Sanitation Truck Driver/ Laborer position. It is Full Time for the Public Works Department. Last day for application will be March 8, 2019 at 4 PM BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive sanitation truck for garbage pickup, recycling pickup & yard waste/grass pickup on scheduled days with scheduled routes. Perform minor maintenance on sanitation truck such as changing oil, replacing minor worn parts, washing truck, greasing truck, etc. When not driving sanitation truck, employee will assist street department as instructed by Public Works Director, i.e. perform semi-skilled & skilled maintenance work & repair work. Skills in use of tools associated with maintenance of streets, alleys, alleys storm sewers, parks & playgrounds, buildings & facilities including performance of minor plumbing & electrical repairs. Employee in this position is required to be enrolled in the Random Alcohol & Drug Testing Program-all testing is paid by employer. Valid CDL Class B license by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required.
