Animals are available for adoption at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare no-kill shelter, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton. The shelter is working to end pet overpopulation by running a clinic so animals can be spayed or neutered before they go home. For more information, call 610-252-7722 or visit www.healthyanimalcenter.org. Due to the extension of the COVID-19 quarantine, we are still accepting applications, but we are not processing adoptions. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR would appreciate people helping by picking up trash on the trail as part of the D&L Trail Tenders program. In general people can help clean the D&L Trail or trailheads by picking up trash, removing sticks or brush, and help keep the signs clean. For those who do more than picking up a few things on a walk we ask that they report what they did so we can keep track of it using an online form: https://delawareandlehigh.org/trail-programs/trail-tenders/trail-tenders...
