Luther L. Snyder, 85, of Freemansburg, died Jan. 6, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Luther R. and Mable (Wartman) Snyder. He was the husband of Marie (Mory) Snyder for 63 years.

He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He worked many years at Bethlehem Steel, from which he retired.

He was a member of Trinity U.C.C. Church, Freemansburg .

Margaret (Popovich) Klucsik, 89, formerly of Bethlehem, died Jan. 8, 2013. Born in Dante, Va., she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Dudash) Popovich. She was the wife of the late Frank C. Klucsik for 60 years.

She was a parishioner of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church.

She retired in 1979 after 27 years in the food industry. She worked for Food Fair, Pantry Pride and Groman's Bakery.

Doris "Dot" A. LaBar, 89, of Hellertown, died Jan. 7, 2013, at the St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Elsie (Lynn) Huber. She was the wife of the late Chester P. LaBar.

She worked for the former Burron Medical Products and for Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Bethlehem.

Rose E. Winch, 100

Rose E. Winch, 100, formerly of Bethlehem, died Jan. 15, 2013, in Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. She was a daughter of the late Rev. Peter and Anna Molodkovitz. She was the wife of the late Harry G. C. Winch.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bethlehem.

She was a member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and she won numerous awards and ribbons from the Allentown Fair.

She is survived by two daughters, Grace and her husband John Nemetz of Bethlehem and Linda Marcincin of Lower Saucon; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Irene Grace Bukvics, seamstress

Irene Grace Bukvics, 94, of Bethlehem, died Jan.18, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pecsek. Irene was the wife of the late Louis F. Bukvics.

She was born in the U.S. and educated in Yugoslavia. She worked in New York City as a governess. She later was a seamstress for the former Chickadee Dress Company after relocating in the Bethlehem area .

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where she was a member of the Women's League.

Gale A. Paulus, 77, of Bethlehem, died January 10, 2013, in her home. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Robert Itterly and the late Anna J. Walk. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Paulus for 60 years.

She and her late husband owned and operated The Midway Inn, Hellertown, from 1975 - 1978. She later worked as manager of Orr's Monocacy Room Restaurant. She was an infant room supervisor at Creative Kids Club.

Anna (Tyciak) Kalata, Sokols member

Anna (Tyciak) Kalata, 95, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 9, 2013, at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. She was the wife of the late George E. Kalata for 67 years.

Born in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late Wasyl "Charles" and Pauline (Bobelak) Tyciak. She was amember of the former Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Catholic Sokols Wreath #32.

Mildred E. Wright, 102

Mildred E. Wright, 102, of Bethlehem, died Jan.19, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Jennie (Lagleter) Quier. She was the wife of the late Philip H. Wright.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, where she sang with the choir for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Meldrum of Bethlehem and Judith Burke of Titusville, Fla.; three grandsons, Keith, James and Brian; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Christopher.
