Kimberly Ann Beatty, 47, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 14, 2012, while in the care of the Cancer Treatment Center of America, Philadelphia. She was born in Missouri. She was the companion of Steve deMello.
She earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
She worked for the Electric Power Research Institute and then for Neuco Inc. software development company where she was the national sales manager.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Anna B. Zabrecky, 94, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 11, 2012 at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Estock) Pavlo. She was the wife of the late Francis Zabrecky.
She was a parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish.
She was a member of the former Ss. Cyril and Methodius Drill Team as well as the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (FCSLA) cadets.
Isabel Almonte, 92, died Sept. 11, 2012, in her home. She was one of six children born to the late Carmelo and Inocencia Melendez Rivera of Morovi, Puerto Rico. She was the wife of Julian Almonte for 49 years.
She worked at St. Luke's Hospital in the laundry department and then at Lehigh University for 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters; Mercedes Melendez and Rebecca Rodriguez; two sons, Pedro and Roberto Negron; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Theresa Fartel, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Sept. 10, 2012. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Kristina (Duh) Gombocz. She was the wife of the late Ernest Fartel.
She was active at St. John's Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society and the former Lutheran Church Women.
Kenneth J. Brouse, 46, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 11, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Ralph and Helen (Pukavage) Brouse of Bethlehem.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was employed by Trans-Bridge, where he worked as a mechanic for 25 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Daniel and James of Bethlehem; a sister, Donna and her husband Rick McCandless of Nazareth; aunts; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph.
Helen J. Kopchak, 91, of Freemansburg, died Aug. 30, 2012, in ManorCare, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Peter Kopchak. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Achey) Beahm.
She worked for Laros Silk Mill and Just Born Candy Factory prior to her marriage.
She was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Freemansburg.
She was a former member of the National Sokols and the Freemansburg Democratic Club. She was inducted into the Bethlehem Bowling Hall of Fame.
Virginia M. Uhl, 67, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 8, 2012, at her residence.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Gustave J. and Margaret E. (Hanus) Uhl.
She was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic HS. She earned an associate's degree from Northampton County Community College.
She was a secretary for IBM and Control Data Corporation.
She is survived by a sister, Deborah, with whom she resided; two brothers, Richard G. Uhl of Richmond, Va. and Mark J. and his wife Janine Uhl of York; eight nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and great- nephews.
Anne Czap, 90, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 9, 2012. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Timko) Czap.
She was a graduate of Liberty HS (1940) and of Bethlehem Business College. She attended millinery school.
She served with the American Red Cross during World War II.
She was a waitress and hostess at Hotel Bethlehem for 50 years.
She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church.
James H. Roberson, 89, of Bethlehem; died Sept. 4, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital. He was a son of the late Wilson and Elizabeth (Fisher) Roberson. He was the husband of the late Mary (Toth) Roberson for 56 years.
He was the president and owner of Roberson Associates.
He will survived by a son, Brian and his wife Lee; two daughters, Barbara and her husband William E. Thawley and Marsha and her husband William R. Pangrass Jr.; four grandchildren, Ashley Mooney, Thomas Anfuso and Kaitlin and Allison Pangrass; and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and John Anfuso.
John A. Carchio, 88, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 7, 2012. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Rocco and Antoinette (Marinaccio) Carchio. He was the husband of the late Teresa (Gianguzi) Carchio.
A veteran of World War II, he was a Navy Seabee in the 87th Battalion. He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel. After retirement, he worked as a TSA for Lehigh Valley International Airport.
