Barbara A. White 63, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 28, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospital-Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John F. Sr. and Mary (McQuay) Mackaravitz. She was the wife of Richard J. White for 46 years.
She was a production wirer for Eaton-Cutler Hammer for 20 years.
Marie M. O'Haire, 84, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 28, 2012, in her home. Born in Plains, she was a daughter of the late Fiovo and Helen (Wesolowski) Leonardi. She was the wife of Thomas "Tracy" O'Haire for 59 years.
She was a seamstress at Casco Manufacturing, Hellertown, and later as a clerk at the Spinning Wheel, Bethlehem.
She was a member of Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
Mary Catherine Kolb, 92, died Aug. 25, 2012, in her residence at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. Born in Takoma Park, Md., she was a daughter of the late Lester Newman Koontz and Emma Richter Koontz . She was the wife of Jacob S. Kolb for 72 years.
She was active in the U.S.O. during World War II.
She was a member of the Junior League of Bethlehem. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and at St. Luke's and Muhlenberg hospitals.
Theresa "Tessie" V. Sinko, 95, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 20, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital Anderson campus, Bethlehem. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Julius S. and Margaret S. (Farkas) Demko. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Sinko and the late Edmund J. Kreska.
She was a 1936 graduate of Liberty HS.
She was a hairdresser for 25 years, retiring in 1967.
She was a member of the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Dr. Edwin "Mr. E" S. Erickson Jr., 84, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 20, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Edwin and Dorothy Erickson. He was the husband of Adele Erickson for 59 years.
He earned a PhD in mineralogy from Penn State University.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corporation in the Homer Research Labs. He was an adjunct professor at Northampton Community College.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem.
Dorothy A. Shiner, 86, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 24, 2012, at Holy Family Manor. Born in Phillipsburg, N.J. she was a daughter of the late Phillip A. and Grace (Lawler) Lucas. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Shiner.
She retired from the City of Bethlehem where she worked in the tax office from 1971 to 1991. She had previously worked as a secretary for Moravian College and Lehigh University.
Patricia R. John, 91, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 26, 2012. Born in Bethlehem, she was daughter of the late Patrick and Modesta (Blackton) Roche. She was the wife of the late Weston John.
She was a clerk for Western Electric for 23 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and was active in the church senior group
She is survived by two sons, W. Roger of Bethlehem and Dennis of Nazareth; and a granddaughter, Laura of Boston.
She was predeceased by a brother, James; and a sister, Modesta.
Bernard "Bernie" S. Yaglowski, 34, of Salisbury Township, died Aug. 21, 2012, while vacationing with his family. Born in Flemington, N.J., he was the son of Stanley Yaglowski and Diane (Copeland) and her husband Nick Paul. He was the husband of Katherine (Monte) Yaglowski.
He was a graduate of Saucon Valley HS.
He was a fuel service technician for Deiter Brothers, Bethlehem.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Evan and Suzannah; and three sisters, Cynthia and Melissa Yaglowski and Valerie Downing.
Jeanne Audre Barthold Vogler, 86, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 22, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Judge William G. Barthold and Francis C. (Werkeiser) Barthold. She was the wife of the late W. "Bill" E.Vogler Jr., M.D.
She was a graduate of Willam & Mary College. She maintained a lifelong connection to her Kappa Kappa Gamma friends and the school.
She volunteered at her church. She worked at the polls.
Anna Talotta, 88, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 21, 2012, in Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Eva (Latowski) Kendzierski. She was the wife of the late John C. Talotta for 48 years.
She was a member of Life of Christ Church, Bethlehem.
