Elmer A. Parton, 87, of Bethlehem, died July 31, 2012. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Elmer and Florence (Ziegler) Parton. He was the husband of Lorraine (Pfeffer) Reiser Parton for 17 years. and of the late Anna (Romanick) Parton.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was with the 291st Engineer Combat Battalion during World War II.
He was a carpenter for Bethlehem Steel for many years, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Edna L. Meixell, 102, formerly of Bethlehem, died July 17, 2012, at Gracedale, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Milo D. Meixell and the late Louis E.J. Harris.
Born in Swoyerville, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mabel (Stull) Keiper.
She was a member of Edgeboro Moravian Church, Bethlehem.
She was a member of the Garden Club, the Women's Club of Bethlehem, the Gourmet Club, the Bridge Club and the Women of Lehigh.
James Lamarr Kelshaw Sr., 65, of Bethlehem, died July 31, 2012. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Lionel and Grace (Munro) Kelshaw. He was the husband of Kathleen (McCarthy) Kelshaw for 42 years.
He retired from the Mack Printing Group after 22 years as a bindery worker. Prior to that, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for nine years. He was a PIAA girls basketball referee for 16 years.
He was a member of the Jeffs, Wanderers and Heights A.A.
Donna May (Fluck) Weierbach, 53, of Slatington, died Aug. 1, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Cedar Crest. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Mary and Carl Fluck Sr. of Bethlehem. She was the wife of Wade Weierbach for 7 years.
She was a dietician at Phoebe Home, Allentown, and was a senior consultant for Pampered Chef. She was co-owner of the Redneck Ranch.
Wallace F. Karp, 86, of Bethlehem, died July 30, 2012, in his residence at Traditions of Hanover. Born in Newark, N.J., he was a son of the late Wallace J. and Mary (Kniffin) Karp. He was the husband of Doris (Collins) Karp for 60 years.
He earned a master's degree in technical education.
He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a radio operator in Newfoundland.
Frank J. Vandergrift Sr., 79, of Whitehall, formerly of Allentown, died Aug. 2, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Marie T. (Yost) Vandergrift for 59 years.
Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Frederick Vandergrift and Julia (Marth) Vandergrift.
A Korean war veteran, he was a corporal in the army medical service.
He was an investment broker for Janney Montgomery Scott, Allentown, retiring in 1997.
Leo R. Rheiner Jr., 81, of Bethlehem, died July 14, 2012, at his residence. Born in Bethlehem, he was son of the late Leo Sr. and Mary (Henry) Rheiner. He was was the husband of Phyllis (DeLong) Rheiner for 55 years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served aboard the USS Damato during the Korean War.
He was employed by Bethlehem Steel as an electrician. He later worked in corporate security at both Martin Tower and the Homer Research facilities.
He was a parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.
Sancho P. Bryant Jr., 65, of Bethlehem, died July 31, 2012, in St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Tenn., he was the son of the late Sancho P. Sr. and Mary Ann (Dunlap) Bryant. He was the husband of Deborah (Posten) Bryant.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Desiree Bryant of Bridgeport; eight nephews; a niece; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Stella Mae Scipio and Louise "Lizzie" Bryant; and a brother, Tyrone Coleman.

Mary Bolza Horwath, 91, of Bethlehem, died July 18, 2012, at Blough Health Care Center, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rocchina (Mastropieri) Bolza. She was the wife of Raymond T. Horwath for 68 years.
She was a 1938 graduate of Liberty HS and a graduate of Bethlehem Business School.
She was an office clerk for Bethlehem Steel, and worked in the main office. She was also the private secretary to Laura Gross.
She was a parishioner of University Parish of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
John Samuel Coleman Sr., 87, of Bethlehem, died July 30, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born in Mountain Top, he was a son of the late Albert and Ruth Coleman. He was the husband of Ethel (Brown) Coleman for 66 years.
He was an iron worker for Bethlehem Iron Works.
