Police arrested a 24-year-old woman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 24.
Officers allegedly discovered Erica Augello, of 10th Avenue, asleep behind the wheel at the Eaton and Eighth avenues intersection.
Augello is charged with DUI and lack of required insurance.
Police arrested a man for trouble-making at St. Luke's Hospital around 9 a.m. Oct. 8.
Police were notified by staff that Pablo Hidalgo, 56, of the 300 block of State Street, was breaking unspecified objects in the emergency room. When officers arrived, they allegedly found Hidalgo in a state of intoxication.
Hidalgo is charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Police arrested Hykeem Sessons, 31, at the Parkhurst Apartments in the 1800 block of Watkins Street, around 1 a.m. following an alleged accidental discharge of a firearm.
Police said that during a party Sessons fired a pistol into the floor of an apartment. This set off a fight involving at least one other person, a 15-year-old male.
Sessons is charged with harassment, discharging firearms and reckless endangerment.
The juvenile is charged with underage drinking.
Police made several drunkenness-related early morning arrests Oct. 6.
Around 1:35 a.m. officers arrested 31-year-old Gary Kuehner of South 16th Street in Allentown. He'd allegedly been in a fight with a bouncer at the Old Brewery Tavern and was found on West Spruce Street. He is charged with harassment, public drunkenness and marijuana possession charges.
About 10 minutes later police observed Alick Sinift, 39, of North New Street, stumbling over his own feet. He is charged with public drunkenness.
Police arrested a 52-year-old man in the 2500 block of Easton Avenue for stealing around 1:15 p.m. Oct. 18.
According to police, Frank Rodriguez, of Markham Drive, was observed entering an unlocked car in the Wells Fargo parking lot and removing a bag of prescription medication.
Bank employees chased him and he was taken into custody.
Rodriguez is charged with theft from a motor vehicle.
William J. Ward, 46, of Cloverdale Road, pleaded guilty but mentally ill Oct. 8 to first-degree murder of his girlfriend, 29-year-old Trisha Sadler, in June 2011.
In a press release, Lehigh County District Attorney James Martin said the woman's dismembered remains were discovered in her home when police forced entry and apprehended Ward with gas canisters and Tasers following a five-hour standoff.
The victim was ending the relationship because of physical abuse and threats and had told a coworker to call police is she didn't appear at work.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man on a charge of public intoxication on West Lehigh Street around 2 a.m. Oct. 3.
According to police, Matthew Kowalski, of Hilltop Terrace, was observed wondering aimlessly around the neighborhood and confronted by officers. They found him allegedly under the influence of heroin.
Kowalski is charged with public drunkeness and possession of paraphernalia.
Police arrested a 27-year-old man for public intoxication while at the Celtic Classic around 10 p.m. Sept. 29.
According to police, Matthew Wolfe of Troxell Court in Allentown was acting in a disorderly manner and refused to leave when asked. When ejected from the venue he allegedly resisted arrest.
Wolfe is charged with public Drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Police arrested a 33-year-old man on a bench warrant around 5 p.m. Sept. 30.
Nicholas Andreski, of Old Bethlehem Pike in Center Valley, was wanted on a previous charge. Officers searching him allegedly discovered a needle in his shoe.
Andreski was remanded to Northampton County Prison and is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.
Police arrested two men at the 1162 Pembroke Road Green Door adult book store around 6 p.m. Oct. 1.
According to police, both men were observed in the parking lot injecting heroin into their arms. Numerous drug-related items were found on and around them, police said.
Ines Rios, 63, of Woodbine Street, and Juan Cordova, 58, of Bethlehem, are charged with possession of paraphernalia, and Cordova is additionally charged with disorderly conduct and possession of controlled substances.
