Police arrested 59-year-old Philip Youngken, of Hawthorne Road, for driving while intoxicated around 12:30 a.m. Aug. 15.
According to police, an officer present at a local Wawa observed Youngken fall into a shelving unit, knocking over a quart of motor oil, and then later driving a car out of the lot.
Youngken was stopped and questioned, and was determined to be drunk. He is charged with DUI, DUI highest rate and traffic infractions.
Among arrests police made during Musikfest were:
Jeramie Mayes, 22, of Chew Street in Allentown, who was seen staggering and falling over at Plaza Tropical Aug. 10. He is charged with public drunkenness.
Arielle Baumgarten, 21, of S. 16th Street in Allentown, who was charged with public drunkenness at the Main Street ramp Aug. 10.
Delmar Williams, 24, of North Lumber Street in Allentown, who was discovered near the Central Moravian Church in possession of suspected cocaine.
Police arrested a man shortly after he tried to burgle the Easton Avenue Delta station around 12:40 a.m. Aug. 14.
Officers responded to a broken-glass alarm and reviewed video footage of a man with a hammer who fled the scene at the sound of the alarm.
Not long thereafter police found the suspect, Kwame McGriff, 25, of Skyline Drive, in the area while still possessing the hammer.
McGriff is charged with burglary, possessing instruments of crime, criminal mischief, loitering and public drunkenness.
A woman reported unknown persons removed her purse from her car while she was at the Woodlawn Avenue CVS pharmacy around 9:15 p.m. Aug. 9.
According to police, the vehicle may have been left unlocked.
The victim reported within her purse had been an iPhone 4, Galaxy Tab 10 computer and about $800 in other belongings.
Police arrested a 24-year-old man during an investigation and search following an armed robbery of a Linden Street gas station.
Around 1:50 p.m. Aug. 5, a pistol-wielding man with a purple cloth covering his face robbed the Express Gas and Food Mart and fled in a green Volvo.
The following day city and Allentown police followed tips to Andrew Bilheimer of Baeufort Drive, who was discovered in the Redner's Market parking lot on Airport Road.
Bilheimer is charged with robbery, reckless endangerment, receiving stolen property and theft.
Police arrested two men for fighting over $20 on Mechanic Street around 2 a.m. Aug. 1.
According to police, one Pablo Hidalgo arrived in the 1000 block to confront 49-year-old Samuel Hernandez about the money and they began to fight in the street.
Hidalgo was struck several times with a curtain rod and golf club, and Hernandez is charged with simple assault.
Police arrested 28-year-old Daniel Falcon, of South 13th Street in Allentown, for allegedly driving while intoxicated around 11:30 p.m. July 20.
According to police, Falcon's vehicle made an illegal left turn directly in front of a police patrol car on West Fourth Street and was pulled over.
Police said Falcon had an open container of beer in the car and was driving while under suspension.
Falcon is charged with several driving and DUI violations.
Police arrested 31-year-old Angel Nieves during separate, unrelated incidents at local fast-food restaurants late July 21.
According to police, around 11:30 p.m. Nieves, of Ramblewood Lane, was at the Easton Avenue McDonald's trying to sell a necklace to a woman. When she refused to buy, he allegedly spat in her face.
Nieves was arrested for harrassment.
About two hours later a woman at the nearby Arby's saw a man inside her parked car, allegedly attempting tampering with the controls.
